Introducing HAES-Aligned Personal Training!

Happy Valley Nutrition and My Health Matters Fitness collaboration

You might notice that our logo looks a different today.

While this has been up on our website for a few weeks, Happy Valley Nutrition is officially announcing our partnership with HAES-aligned personal training group My Health Matters, owned by Britt McGrath.

Britt has been so instrumental in healing my relationship with my body and movement.

Imagine working with a professional in the fitness industry who legit NEVER asks you about your weight, your body fat percentage, your macros (ugh, I shudder just thinking about it).

I told Britt that as a woman in my 40s I wanted to work on mobility and functional movements to help me in my life (think carrying groceries, getting up from the floor with (more) grace, and not falling on ice).

No talk of calories burned. No talk of fitspo or "harder better faster stronger" mentality. Just meeting me where I am at and honoring my very messed-up past in diet culture land.

Britt is very open about her own eating disorder past and therefore just GETS IT. She aims to create an inclusive, safe, and brave space for people in ALL body sizes.

Also, she has some really bad ass tattoos. That's important too, right? (It is to me!)

Want to learn more about our partnership? Check out this short video (where I also profess my undying love for Britt at the end, lol)
